The Acqua Shop was founded in 2005 with the vision of helping local economies and embracing our environment. Our products are imported from countries like Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, Spain, and Indonesia.
The Acqua Shop owners are proud of their South American roots and they wanted to base their business in something that would preserve and share their traditions with people of other cultures like United States. We believe in offering a product like no other and also helping to the sustenance of small foreign economies that sometimes are affected by globalization processes.
Our idea is to buy products from these small local economies that we know create unique pieces and designs for each individual. Our products are very fashionable because we usually do not carry out big quantities of one design like most of the retail stores, but we do offer exclusivity and inimitability.
Our accessories come from the island of Bali in Indonesia made of unique and exquisite organic and natural materials like wood, coconut, shells, pandan leaf, bamboo, and rattan. We decided to offer our customers something different and distinctive from the regular market products. We chose Bali because it is a place where artisan and handcraft products are of outstanding quality.
